Unexpected Changes Due to COVID-19

This is a short, but somewhat lighter-toned post and video.

During the COVID-19 pandemic we all have had to make changes both large and small to our professional and personal lives. One of the changes I have to admit that I did not see coming was that I would have to alter my facial hair!

Some background: There are recommendations currently that in order to perform endoscopic procedures in the safest way possible, your doctor should wear an N95 mask during the procedure. The problem (which I did not originally think about) was that having a beard would interfere with the mask fit.

Since I had to shave for safety I figured I would take a video to spread the word in a bit of a light-hearted way. Check it out below and stay safe!
